Brenda was inspired by the splashes of rainbow in the gray gradient, and worked a pattern which uses a simple slip stitch sequence to turn those “blips” into rainbows. Let the rainbows fall where they appear as you knit. If the blip falls at an undesirable place, like the bottom of the foot or the heel, knit the stitches instead. The pattern includes the option to use a coordinate yarn for the heel and toe, although the pictured sample does not use a coordinate.
